IMPORTANT:  Before you email me, please read ALL of the following:

1. What (and what NOT) to email me about

   Yes, I'm open to making new friends online. I'm even open to the possibility of one or more of those friendships becoming something more. However, when meeting people online, I prefer to spend quite a bit of time getting to know people via public interaction in online forums before I even begin communicating with them privately. (Otherwise, I would just be too overwhelmed with email, since I do have a very high profile on the Internet.)

   So, unless you've already participated regularly in one or more of my online forums for at least a couple of months, please do not send me private email except about one more of the following, about which I do welcome email even from complete strangers:

   • Matters of interest only to me as a website owner, e.g. link exchanges, other suggested links, web design suggestions, copyright issues, and corrections of minor errors.

   • Messages calling my attention to a particular post in one of my forums, to make sure I read your particular post. (I don't necessarily read all the posts because I have co-moderators.)

   • Simple thank-you's (which, if sent to a public online forum, would be either rejected or frowned upon as me-too posts).

   • Requests for interviews, publication offers, etc. (I'm not really expecting very many of these on the topic of polyamory, on which topic I don't purport to be an expert.)

   WARNING:  If you email me privately about matters that I prefer to discuss in a public forum, be advised that your message may be forwarded to the appropriate public forum, unless you specifically tell me that your message is personal and confidential. And, even in the latter case, don't expect a personal reply.

   Major philosophical disagreements with the content of my websites (as distinct from very minor error corrections) should be discussed in the appropriate one of my forums (as listed below), rather than via private email. Likewise any questions you may want to ask me about my beliefs, or about theistic Satanism in general.

   As noted earlier, though, it is a good idea to send me private email calling my attention to these posts, to make sure I actually do look at them.

   The appropriate forums for you to post in are as follows, depending on who you are and what you want to talk about:

   • If you are both a polyamorist and an adherent of some nonmainstream religion (not Christianity, Judaism, or Islam), please join poly-alt-religion-thinkers (Polyamorist thinkers in alternative religions).
   • If you're a lesbian, gay male, bisexual, or transgender polyamorist living in or near New York City, please join nyc-glbt-poly (New York City Gay/Lesbian/Bi/Transgender Polyamorists).
   • If you want to talk to me about my personal spiritual beliefs, or about religion, spirituality, or the occult in general, you may do so in poly-alt-religion-thinkers if you qualify for membership there, or you may do so in whichever one of my Theistic Satanism forums is most appropriate, given your own beliefs and what you want to talk about.

   My email groups are not very high-traffic most of the time and thus will not clutter your in-box terribly much. And they do put identifying tags on the subject line, for convenience with mail filters. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can get a no-mail subscription and view the posts on the Yahoo website.

   But before you post in my email groups, please do explore this website first. If you wish to ask me about my spiritual beliefs, please also explore my Theistic Satanism site first.

   
   

2. How to email me privately

   IMPORTANT:  Please read the following before you write to me:

   I delete, unread, all email whose SUBJECT line does not begin with certain specific words that I recognize, because I get a ton of junk mail. So, if you want me to look at your message at all, please be sure to include "Polyamory site" on the SUBJECT line of your message. I would appreciate it if your subject line could ALSO include more than JUST "Polyamory site," to let me know the actual topic of your message. But please make sure your subject line does begin with "Polyamory site."

   Also, when you email me, please do NOT send me file attachments. If you wish to send me an article, please copy and paste it into the body of your message.
